What is a Prepaid parking coupon (PPB)
What is the Prepaid parking coupon/voucher?
The Prepaid Parking Voucher (PPB) is a specific service for pre-paid hourly tickets that can be used in all parking zones across Opatija's open public car parks. Upon purchase, the PPB is linked to a vehicle's registration number and is valid only for that specific vehicle.
If a parking warden or the Scan-a-Car system identifies a parked vehicle without a valid ticket, and that vehicle has an active PPB with a sufficient balance for an hourly rate, the system will IMMEDIATELY activate an hourly ticket at the rate of the current zone and deduct the cost from the PPB balance, rather than issuing a daily parking charge. The user will receive an email notification regarding the activation of the hourly ticket. Should the vehicle remain parked after the initial hour expires, the system will continue to extend the parking with a new hourly ticket in the same manner, provided the user has a sufficient balance on their PPB.
